Facebook keeps chirping, Make it to stop!

According to Dataconomy, the Chirping, which occurs during scrolling, is part of a new update to make the mobile experience “more engaging and interactive.”

It’s not super obtrusive, but it might not be great to hear a chirping sound while trying scroll facebook.

You can easily turn it off. Just follow these steps:

1. Click on the bottom right icon of your app, which should open your menu.
2. Scroll down to Settings under Settings and Privacy.
3. Under Preferences, click on Media and tap Sounds. Then click the toggle to off In-App Sounds. This should not affect video sound.

If all else fails, put your phone on silent.
